  1. What gauge strings come will come on my guitar from the factory? Most manufacturers use the same gauge strings on all electric guitars of 9-42;  acoustic guitars use 12-54.  Both are considered to be light gauge.
  1. Do you repair musical equipment? We repair all musical equipment.
  1. Do you offer sheet music? Hames Music carries a complete stock of books, software, and videos spanning multiple styles and  genres of music.
  1. Do you carry used musical equipment? Of course!!  We accept trade-ins of all types of equipment and that keeps neat stuff around all the time.  Check with us regularly as our used inventory is constantly changing.
  1. What are OHMS? A measure of resistance involving the relationship between speakers and amplifiers. 
  1. Do drums come with cases? No.  But Hames Music carries a wide selection of cases for drums.
  1. Do cymbals come with the drum sets? Some of our most popular entry level drum sets include cymbals.
  1. When I buy a keyboard, should I purchase a stand? Yes!!  You will be able to place the keyboard at the correct height and in a stable location.
